I am Denise Pirrotti Hummel, J.D., CEO and Founder of Universal Consensus, LLC. The goal of Universal Consensus® is to help clients leverage the power of culture to optimize their bottom line. We do this by offering strategic solutions to businesses, universities, and government agencies facing global and cultural challenges. Our work focuses on increasing revenue and operational efficiencies; reducing the risk of cross-border operations; and providing tools for cultural transformation and integration as well as global expansion – including introductions to key decision-makers globally. Many businesses have not considered how working with different cultures will impact business processes. It is our job to evaluate, develop, and implement a plan to address the issues impeding our client’s overall performance. Some clients have a clear sense of the problem and require training or coaching to resolve the issue. Other clients come to us because they need help turning cross-cultural and organizational culture challenges into opportunities within their organization.
Program recommendations are based on the trademarked cultural solutions analysis we have developed over two decades of working with clients. It is a strategic functional analysis of international business through six comprehension “lenses” and the application of that analysis to the particular business or organizational challenge. The Business Model of Intercultural Analysis (BMIA™) was honed by years of research, case studies and empirical application to various businesses across many global markets. Year after year, the process is refined and business and cultural trends are updated, but the underlying concepts are so rooted in the human dimension that they are, in effect, timeless.
